Economic Impact of Winemaking

The economic impact of winemaking in Maryland totals in the millions of dollars and will only grow with the advent of direct wine shipping. The Maryland Wineries Association commissioned the University of Baltimore to quantify this impact, and the University published its report in March 2009.
