Maryland Wine Legal History

University of Baltimore Law student, Lauren Dunnock, examined the legality of Maryland wine shipping laws in 2007 and concluded that they are probably a violation of the Dormant Commerce Clause. In her analysis, Ms. Dunnock reviews the history of wine law in our state and presents the case that our laws are not only antiquated but also in violation of the US Constitution.
